Bow and side view of a Cobia 350 Center Console.

The Cobia brand has long been committed to making sure
our owners HAVE IT ALL.

Spend time on the water on a Cobia boat and you’ll see and feel the difference. The ride is exceptionally smooth, dry and rock solid. At rest or while drifting, the boat resists aggressive rolling, making for a safe and stable fishing platform. The layout is roomy and uncluttered, without sacrificing amenities and creature comforts. High-use features are always within arm’s reach and maintenance is made easy with smartly placed access.

Cobia boats are the perfect balance of
fishing smarts and comfort, built with best-in-class quality and performance.

How did we get here?

Cobia has an over 60-year history in the boating business and its legacy continues to grow. Acquired by the highly respected boat builder Maverick Boat Group (MBG) in 2005, the Cobia brand was quickly elevated to a level on par with MBG’s other industry-leading brands: Maverick, Hewes and Pathfinder.

This meant not only making the boats better in every respect, but making them the top of their class. An aggressive new model rollout schedule ensued, and today Cobia is one of the top-selling fishing boats in the country. There are no other boats that better blend tournament-grade performance and family comfort in a single package.

Designed by serious anglers and boating enthusiasts, MBG’s line of high performance boats continues to exceed customer expectations. It all leads back to the company’s simple motto for success, which is, “A quality company, with quality people, building quality products.”

We are strong believers in taking care of the natural environment so that the next generation can experience what we love about being on the water.
Through funding and support, MBG has given millions to environmental conservation organizations like these:
